Advertising spot

 Kerrygold

I guess that many students face the same situation as I do. Well, during college time I have hardly time to watch TV. Therefore it's typical for me to end up in front of the TV and spending the most of the leisure time with watching TV. I have to admit that “watching TV“ isn't really an activity as you don't do any movement activities. It feels like as if you have to make up for the missed time without TV. Although a lot of nonsense was aired on TV.

I was really annoyed because all TV programs were spoiled with infintely advertising spots. Therefore I decided to read a book instead and the TV was just running in the background. But a very nice advertising spot got my attention. I haven't seen it before: the KERRYGOLD butter spot. I mean the spot was in German but with an Irish accent which is really lovely. And the scenery of Ireland is shown with Irish music in the background.

See yourself:

After some days I also got Kerrygold butter on my bread for breakfast. I really love it! So how long will it take you to have Kerrygold butter for breakfast?

SPRING ROLLS

Back to food again! Although Easter is over the good food stays anyway. One of my favourite dishes are homemade spring rolls which I've not eaten for ages. So my mum decided to fulfil my wish and made me some delicious spring rolls.

But I've to mention that my mum never cooks with recipes because she believes that food tastes better if it is done with feeling. So I just know the ingredients and which seasonings are needed. I've to admit that I have no idea according to the proportion of quantity. Well, she was trying to explain about the quantity but it sounded pretty complicated. So my mum was like “once you've to do it yourself, then you'll see”.

This time I'm lucky as my mum nearly made anything. First she put some Chinese noodles into hot water so that they get softer. Then she slices cabbage, carrots, kohlrabi and cucumbers. After slicing the vegetables, the minced meat is fried in a wok. Once the meat is done it should removed to a bowl and set aside. Then she stir-fries the vegetables and adds the Chinese noodles. The next step is to add the meat back into the wok. Then she tosses a few times and the filling is finished!

Then a special kind of pastry is needed. You'll get this rice pastry in any Asian market. Below you can see the instructions how to “fold” spring rolls:

To roll up a spring roll needs some time and exercise but even if it doesn't look good it will taste awesome :)
 Bon appétit!

TV Series

PRETTY LITTLE LIARS

Pretty little liars is a teen drama TV series which is filled with mysteries. It is basically taken from the series of novels written by Sara Shepard. It is a very exciting story and I'm always looking forward for the next episodes. It is sometimes really breathtaking and incalculable.

The series is showing the everyday lives of four girls in the fictional town of Rosewood. Their names are Aria Montgomery (Lucy Hale), Spencer Hastings (Troian Bellisario), Emily Fields (Shannon Ashley Mitchell) and Hanna Marin (Ashley Benson). The girls are best friends and they also keep their group together after the queen of their group, Alison DiLaurentis (Sasha Pieterse), disappeared.
After the disappearance of Alison they received messages from a person who is called A. A is threatening the girls with messages to reveal all their secrets and it seems like they are followed by A who watches the girls all the time. At first the girls thought that it was Alison herself but after her body had found dead they have no idea who the person is.

The four girls start to recognize that someone else might know their secrets and secrets which maybe just Alison knew. So the girls realized that Alison was also stalked by A and started to continue in finding information about A and Alison's dead by risking their lives.

Well, once you've started to watch it you'll definitely get addicted to the series until A is found.

I'm really impressed because if you hear dessert you'll think automatically about a sweet dish. But at “butter me up, Brooklyn“ you'll also find sweet dish that ends up the other way round: a salty dish. So don't only read the headline of the recipe you should go more in detail and I guarantee you'll be surprised.

By reading through the recipes of “butter me up, Brooklyn!” you'll find really good instructions how to prepare and make the dishes. Sometimes you'll even find the items you needed for the dessert. In some recipes there's a long or quick version. So if you're in hurry a quick version of the recipe is also available.

Well, I had no time so far to try out some of the recipes but this will be done in a little while. Then the mission will be peanut butter curry cookies. I'm really excited about that and will report you how it tastes! Here is the link to the blog:

The Man From Nowhere

(directed by Lee Jeong-Boem)

It is an South-Korean movie which takes place in South Korea's capital Seoul. It highlights the shady sides of the country including drug dealing and organ trafficking.

Cha Tae-sik (Won Bin) was one of the best agents in the South Korean intelligence service. But after an attack on him, which unfortunately killed his pregnant wife, he retired embittered and disillusioned back from the agent business. Now he ekes out his existence by running a pawn shop. No one was allowed to come too close to him as his loss is still very painful. Only the nine-year old So-Mi (Kim Sae-Ron), whose mother is trapped in a vicious criminal, penetrates through to him. As So-Mi and her mother one day come to the attention rapacious drug traffickers, Tae-sik rescues So-Mi and her mother by scaring the criminal gang off by all the rules of agents art. With his intervention, however, he has stirred up a hornet's nest, which is now aware of him and his little world. In addition to the "small" criminal gang, he has now to deal with the entire organ trade mafia on the scene, which kidnapped So-Mi and murdered her mother. Too much is too much, therefore Tae-Sik puts the car in gear and pulls avenger looking for So-Mi a trail of blood through the underworld...

Well, I'm not going to tell you the end of the film because it is worth to watch it and to see what is happening and sometimes you'll be surprised. It is very touching to see that a person who is filled with bitterness is able to build up a relationship/friendship again and tries to protect them as good as it is possible.
