Advertising spot

 Kerrygold

I guess that many students face the same situation as I do. Well, during college time I have hardly time to watch TV. Therefore it's typical for me to end up in front of the TV and spending the most of the leisure time with watching TV. I have to admit that “watching TV“ isn't really an activity as you don't do any movement activities. It feels like as if you have to make up for the missed time without TV. Although a lot of nonsense was aired on TV.

I was really annoyed because all TV programs were spoiled with infintely advertising spots. Therefore I decided to read a book instead and the TV was just running in the background. But a very nice advertising spot got my attention. I haven't seen it before: the KERRYGOLD butter spot. I mean the spot was in German but with an Irish accent which is really lovely. And the scenery of Ireland is shown with Irish music in the background.

See yourself:

After some days I also got Kerrygold butter on my bread for breakfast. I really love it! So how long will it take you to have Kerrygold butter for breakfast?

Food

SPRING ROLLS

Back to food again! Although Easter is over the good food stays anyway. One of my favourite dishes are homemade spring rolls which I've not eaten for ages. So my mum decided to fulfil my wish and made me some delicious spring rolls.

But I've to mention that my mum never cooks with recipes because she believes that food tastes better if it is done with feeling. So I just know the ingredients and which seasonings are needed. I've to admit that I have no idea according to the proportion of quantity. Well, she was trying to explain about the quantity but it sounded pretty complicated. So my mum was like “once you've to do it yourself, then you'll see”.

This time I'm lucky as my mum nearly made anything. First she put some Chinese noodles into hot water so that they get softer. Then she slices cabbage, carrots, kohlrabi and cucumbers. After slicing the vegetables, the minced meat is fried in a wok. Once the meat is done it should removed to a bowl and set aside. Then she stir-fries the vegetables and adds the Chinese noodles. The next step is to add the meat back into the wok. Then she tosses a few times and the filling is finished!

Then a special kind of pastry is needed. You'll get this rice pastry in any Asian market. Below you can see the instructions how to “fold” spring rolls:

To roll up a spring roll needs some time and exercise but even if it doesn't look good it will taste awesome :)
 Bon appétit!
